found this on a recent road trip

behind an anglican church

outside ottawa

in kanata

in some eastern religions and greek mythology

it is believed the labyrinth offers inexplicable healing properties

to those who choose to follow it's bends and turns

in quiet contemplation

the design

is said to symbolize the twists and turns of life's journey

with a single entrance representing birth

inevitably leading to a center point

which represents

enlightenment maybe or a symbolic arrival of sorts

but probably death

regardless

it's a very meditative and pacifying quarter of a kilometer

i want one
