circus circus

we got the ringside seats
so close you could feel the elephants breathing
which made me a little nervous
i didn't exactly hate it
but i'm not looking forward to the next time either
-
andrew and emily loved the show
and were so cute together

the show was electrifying and fun

and sometimes shocking

there were these two little kids that they twirled round and round on a pole - so fast - if one of them had've fallen off they would have flown from whitby to bowmanville
and there was the little gurl they threw up in the air with their feet - everytime she landed
she looked relieved and just as surprised as we were
andrew could hardly watch

animal rights organizations are all over circus'
making sure the animals are treated safely and humanely
but
i'm not sure who's looking out for these bastard gypsy kids
the circus uses as props to get the really big oooooze and awwwwze
-
i think i heard the ringmaster say they're columbian street kids
and the circus is some kind of work program funded by shriners and the united states drug enforcement agency
to keep orphaned children from becoming
dope smugglers and prostitutes

or maybe he said
"ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages welcome to the greatest show on earth"
whatever
