they're pimping the bohemian coffee shop culture to a town that hasn't grown into it yet but the "i wanna prove i'm aware and out of step with the mainstream" kids are digging it - promote caffeine dependence to the young with a side order of pseudo-hip-wannabe folksy music style and you have a customer forever (read addict)

it's definitely more charming than lining up at all times of the day behind a dozen caffeine starved fools at the drive-thru waiting to get jacked up on tim hortons extra large triple triple crack laced coffee
