we followed this ECLIPSE into toronto for twilight wristbands

ECLIPSE being the name of another book in the TWILIGHT series

by stephanie meyer - whom i think is uber-hot

this series of books

and the release of the first movie

is a really big deal

rabidly popular with the kids

much music the nations music station/hype machine

is having an event with some of the cast

giving out wrist bands today

for the event on saturday

this is the line up when we got there

we were there 4 hours ahead of time

some people camped out for more than a day

we turned around without getting out of the car

met diana in oshawa and went to Red Lobster for all you can eat shrimp which we had tried to get one other time after i saw the commercial on TV but that time we were there one day too early and it wasn't available

this time...one day too late

all you can eat shrimpfest ended november 10 - yesterday

no amount of pleading or fearsome malicious threats to the management of that filthy place helped - they wouldn't budge - they did however give us kind courteous attentive service, free deserts all around, a bag of those sexy biscuits to take home and a discount

but it wasn't the same
